The association’s quality standards, membership requirements and ongoing professional development programs are designed to achieve excellence, reliability and rigor.

To achieve sustainable development and promote the Balearic Islands

We aim to preserve the region's natural environment, cultural heritage and environmental richness, while strengthening and securing its economic future.

To build and work with an effective team of real estate professionals

We support and assist our members in becoming the best real estate professionals, both nationally and internationally.

To encourage synergy and networking

We actively and regularly exchange key industry information, such as legal updates and ongoing quality training, to foster collaboration and growth.

To join ABINI, any individual or legal entity interested in becoming a member freely and voluntarily can do so, provided they align with the Association’s objectives and have a direct or indirect connection to providing services within the real estate sector. Applicants must meet the requirements set out in ABINI’s Statutes and applicable internal regulations. Legal entities must appoint an individual to represent them within the Association.

Membership Requirements and Application Process

Individuals or representatives of legal entities wishing to join the Association must meet the following criteria:

Proven experience and education

Hold a higher or official academic qualification and demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in the real estate sector.

Mandatory legal compliance

Must comply with current legislation regarding anti-money laundering and data protection.

Up-to-date tax obligations

Be current with payments to Social Security and the Tax Agency.

Civil liability insurance

Hold liability insurance to cover their professional activities.

Established presence in the Balearic Islands

Maintain an uninterrupted presence in the Balearic Islands for at least five years.

Physical office open to the public

Operate a dedicated physical office that is open to the public within the Balearic Islands.

Once these requirements are met, the General Assembly — held once a year, usually in April or May — will discuss and evaluate candidates based on factors such as image, reputation, ethics, professionalism, prior collaboration experiences, working methods, philosophy and more. Finally, an anonymous ballot will be conducted to decide on the candidates’ admission.
