{"id":1885,"date":"2025-03-11T10:14:08","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T09:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abini.borbalan.com\/abini-presents-its-new-board-of-directors-to-the-housing-councillor-and-expresses-its-concern-about-the-elimination-of-the-compulsory-registration-of-real-estate-agents\/"},"modified":"2025-03-11T10:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T09:14:08","slug":"abini-presents-its-new-board-of-directors-to-the-housing-councillor-and-expresses-its-concern-about-the-elimination-of-the-compulsory-registration-of-real-estate-agents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abini.es\/en\/abini-presents-its-new-board-of-directors-to-the-housing-councillor-and-expresses-its-concern-about-the-elimination-of-the-compulsory-registration-of-real-estate-agents\/","title":{"rendered":"ABINI presents its new board of directors to the housing councillor and expresses its concern about the elimination of the compulsory registration of real estate agents."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new board of directors of the Balearic Association of National and International Real Estate Agents (ABINI) has held its first institutional meeting with the Minister of Housing, Jos\u00e9 Luis Mateo, and the Director General of Housing, Jos\u00e9 Francisco Reyn\u00e9s, in a key meeting to address the current situation of the property market in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of ABINI, the meeting was attended:<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Arenas, President<\/p>\n<p>Alby Euesden, Vice-President<\/p>\n<p>Marvin Bonitz, Secretary<\/p>\n<p>John van Eenennaam, Treasurer<\/p>\n<p>Hans Lenz, Spokesperson<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the minister and the director general explained the current housing situation in the Balearic Islands and detailed the shock measures that the government is implementing to tackle the problem of access to housing in the archipelago.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key points was the presentation of the \u2018Lloguer Segur\u2019 programme, a pioneering initiative in Spain that seeks to encourage empty homes to come onto the rental market, offering guarantees to owners and increasing the available supply.<\/p>\n<p>ABINI has conveyed to the representatives of the Government the great concern of the sector about the elimination of the compulsory registration of real estate agents, a measure that, according to the association, jeopardises transparency and security in real estate transactions.<\/p>\n<p>The president of ABINI, Daniel Arenas, stressed that \u2018if we want a safe and reliable real estate market, we need a solid regulatory framework and a firm commitment from our administrations.
